Alexander Group Consulting - Alex Ray

Alex F. Ray, CBEP, MBA

Principal & President

Alex has leveraged his expertise in public-sector infrastructure procurement to lead the development and delivery of more than $110 million in self-funded infrastructure, sustainability, and renewable energy projects, while also consulting on an additional $40 million in infrastructure initiatives. Collectively, his project portfolio has generated over $237 million in taxpayer savings through reduced energy and operations costs. In Arkansas alone, his work is projected to sequester at least 1.25 million tons of CO₂, delivering lasting environmental and economic benefits to the state’s communities.

For more than 14 years, Alex has delivered turn-key strategic solutions in capital planning, procurement consulting, campus resiliency, sustainability, and decarbonization across K-12, higher education, municipal, county, and commercial markets throughout the Southeastern United States. His documented portfolio demonstrates deep expertise in providing future-ready infrastructure services aligned with the long-term capital needs of his clients.

Alex is a Certified Business Energy Professional (CBEP) through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Ouachita Baptist University and an MBA with an emphasis in Global Supply Chain Procurement from the University of Arkansas, Sam Walton College of Business.
